Lots of talks for amateur builders and DIY fans who want to get into self build and property developing.

They address whether it is a good idea to get stuck in during a recession – depends how much cash you have to burn I suppose. Things look a bit better now but prices always go up in the summer.

The talks are on Design & Build, Choosing Trades & Materials, Project Management etc. main speaker is Contributing Editor to Home Building & Renovating Magazine, David Snell. Very useful for all levels of building & DIY.

All good stuff.

Having been introduced to the National Self Build Centre at the very begining of our Self Build Project it has proved invaluable now we’re in the latter stages of the build.

There is so much that can happen along the way when taking on your own project it pays to do your research and there is no better place to start than with like minded individuals that have already seen it and done it!
