Serpentine Gallery Pavilion Frank Gehry
The Serpentine Gallery Pavilion last year in 2008 was designed by the famous Canadian architect Frank Gehry.
The structure was designed and engineered with Arup was made of four steel columns and a grid of timber beams. The organic nature made it very popular with visitors, as can be seen from the images. This is his first finished design in England. Building like this is inspirational and certainly a distance away from the ersatz Grand Designs mode of mansions, glass boxes and fake modern.
